Frequently asked questions

Where are you located?

837 Monroe St, Eugene, OR 97402
I’m an independent hairstylist at Anomaly Hair Collective, a queer- and trans-owned salon in downtown Eugene that was voted Best of Eugene in 2024. There is usually plenty of free street parking on Monroe. The nearest bus line is 103 EmX on 7th Ave, followed by the 41, 55, and 93 lines on W 11th Ave.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome for haircuts, styling and consultations. If I’m not there someone at Anomaly may be available to take care of you!

Is your space accessible?

Anomaly has two floors and the ground level is wheelchair accessible. If you need to use the ground level or have other needs please indicate them when making your appointment with me.
I’m an independent stylist and I can control many of the sights, sounds and scents of my work area so if you have sensory needs I may be able to accommodate them.
If you’re concerned about accessibility I’m happy to offer a brief tour ahead of our appointment.

I don’t see what I want on your scheduling page, what can I do?

I require a consultation before booking some specialty services, please contact me for services that aren’t listed. As a hairstylist I can cut, color, lighten, style, and permanently wave or relax hair. If it’s truly something I’m uncomfortable doing or unable to do, I can point you in the direction of a stylist who can help you.

How long have you done hair?

I’ve been doing hair since I was tall enough to reach the scissors in the junk drawer, but Oregon has let me do it for money since 2024. In the time between I worked as a professional artist, a carpenter and at non-profits.

Do you have a specialty?

Not really! I provide all sorts of services. Right now I want to be especially accessible and find where I fit in our community. Some of my interests include trans clients and gender-affirming hairstyles, hair changes like greying and thinning, and sensory-friendly styling.

Who is your ideal client?

I love working with diverse and extraordinary people. I don’t take it for granted when my clients say that they trust me and feel safe with me, so it’s important that my work is always affirming, positive and respectful. All I expect is that my clients are mindful of my space, my time and my desire to help them feel great about their hair.
