March 2026 update to pricing and policies

I’ve been in business for 6 months as an independent stylist, and I’m so proud looking back to August when I took an enormous leap of faith and I’m grateful that my community was there to support me. Thank you for letting me be part of your self-care.

Like all things, a little change will be needed. I can now take a detailed look at my business and see where I need to make some adjustments. I’m making several immediate price and menu changes and changes to my cancellation, rescheduling and “no-show” policies.

Price and menu changes

  • I am increasing my prices for haircuts, color and perms
  • Hair length is more specific in appointment descriptions
  • Existing color clients will receive a rebooking link for touch-ups and all existing clients will receive free consultations
  • I will charge a fee for color and perm consultations for first-time clients
  • I am removing standalone styling and treatment options

Examples of price changes are written below. I will honor old prices for appointments made before this change, and tipping is still not expected!

cancellation, rescheduling and “no-show” policy changes

Click here to read my new cancellation, rescheduling and “no-show” policy. The changes align with common standards such as requiring 48 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment and requiring payment for changing or cancelling without adequate notice.

Please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Please notify me 48 hours in advance to request a change that alters service duration. If services are changed less than 48 hours in advance resulting in a reduction of appointment timing, you will be charged for the services originally booked.

All appointments are subject to cancellation and rescheduling fees. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment 24-48 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled price. “No-shows” and appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled price. Your card on file will be charged or you will be invoiced a bill to be paid upon receipt.

If you are running late I may alter your service based on the remaining time or cancel completely which may result in a “no-show” fee.

I reserve the right to refuse future service to clients who repeatedly cancel or “no-show.” There will be no exceptions to these policies.
